- the present invention relates to a floor sheet, preferably a parquet floor having different layers of sheet material placed one upon another in providing a sound insulating quality in said floor sheet, whereby between at least two of said layers a glue is provided for gluing together these layers, said glue having extensible qualities in providing of a decreased hardness in said floor sheet
- One object of the present invention is to solve those problems existing in the structures mentioned above by replacing the resilient floor sheet by a resilient glue layer.
- the floor sheet in the form of a parquet floor or a laminate floor/veneer floor comprises different layers of sheet materials provided one upon the other. Between at least two of these layers a glue is provided having resilient qualities in providing a decreased stiffness and non flexible qualities in the sheet materials and also different sound insulating qualities in the floor sheet such as e.g. decreased sound passing through, decreased step sound, decreased frame work sound or in providing of a decreased stiffness in the form of a somewhat softer floor sheet to walk upon.
- the resilient glue also comprises spring back qualities and adheres between the layers against two opposite glue surfaces.
- the resilient qualities make that the sheet materials can move somewhat relative each other, so that these are prevented to come into a self oscillation, when they are subjected for sound waves or in the case some person walks on said floor sheet.
- a parquet floor of wood there is a core, which consists of rods placed next to each other and in this way constitutes a layer.
- a bottom layer At the top there is a wearing layer and the lower most part of the floor a bottom layer is located.
- the resilient glue in a parquet floor is arranged preferable between the bottom layer and the core.
- the resilient glue can according to the invention consist of a thermoplastic melt glue or a thermo setting glue or a so called two component glue.
- thermo setting glue is setting on chemical way by aid of at least one added chemical substance or by aid of an infra radiation or UV-light of ultra sound or other wave motion.
- the resilient glue can according to the invention be applied to the glue surface using different methods such as by applying by aid of rollers, extrusion, rolling, string spreading, laminating.
- extrusion a nozzle is used through which the glue is sprayed to a string on the glue surface by aid of e.g. a robot
- the nozzle or the floor sheet is in motion relative each other, so that the string form a predetermined pattern over a predetermined area of the glue surface.
- a pattern saves very much glue compared with a whole glue layer.
- the floor sheet with the resilient glue can be arranged in a so called "click-floor", which has a form for connection in its edges, of the type "male and female parts” for lying of the floor sheets against each other. Since the resilient glue does not influence this joining together principle, the invention can with advantage also be used on this "click-floor”.
- the greatest advantages with the invention is thus to provide a floor sheet having less stiffness and rigid and which in this way has good noise damping qualities.
- the material cost is lowered since only one layer of resilient glue is needed, arranged like a pattern with a string in stead of one layer of rubber like sheet unit plus two layers with four glue surfaces. This makes also the production easier and cheaper without influencing the "click-floor-function" negative.
- Figure 2 shows a perspective view of a glue surface where a glue is arranged in a pattern on a sheet material.
- a floor sheet 1 in the form of a parquet floor 2, which comprises different layers 3 of sheet material 4 arranged one upon the other. Between two of said layers 3 an elastic glue 5 is provided for gluing together said layers 3.
- the parquet floor 2 has a wearing layer 6, a core 7 consisting of rods 8 placed next to each other, thus forming a layer 3. At the lowest place there is provided a bottom layer 9.
- the sheet material 4 comprises a glue surface 10, where the glue 5 is applied.
- the resilient glue 5 is applied on the glue surface 10 by extruding of said glue 5 by a nozzle 12 out on the glue surface 10 by aid of e.g. a robot in the form of a string 11 on the glue surface 10, so that the nozzle 12 or the floor sheet 1 being in motion relative each other, so that the strings 11 form a pattern 13 over a predetermined part of said glue surface 10.
- next layer 3 of sheet material 4 with its gluing surface 10 turned downwards against the glue 5 is placed, whereupon said glue is setting.
